Aidan is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently working towards a Masters EE degree in the Jonsson School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research focuses on design and fabrication of micro- and nano-scale electro-thermal actuators as part of the Micro/Nano Devices and Systems (MiNDS) lab. He is also editor of the alternative student newspaper and is actively involved in numerous campus committees and advisory boards. After completion of the Master's in May 2006, Aidan plans to attend law school.

Jeff is the founder of a number of technology firms, and is currently the Chief Technologist and managing partner with JTCOOPER, LLC. Jeff's consulting practice focuses on strategy, enterprise architecture, and risk management for a variety of industries. Jeff's currently in yet another graduate program, this time at Harvard University, and is continually involved in the convergence and synergy of multiple technologies as a perpetual student, technologist, and investor.

Laurence Schultz is a pioneer in chemical/mechanical planarization (CMP) processes, and has more than 25 years of industry experience with Texas Instruments, Micron Semiconductor, Sematech, MCC, and Bell Labs. Mr. Schultz is the founder of CMP & Cleans Consultants, a firm dedicated to the design and implementation of improved CMP and related technology. Mr. Schultz is a coach, mentor, and counselor to his clients' engineering teams, and is an accomplished inventor, listed on fourteen U.S. patents directed towards advanced methods and apparatus to improve semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Founder of Key Resource Technology, Inc., Mr. McCain possesses 27 years of relevant industry experience, 25 of those years spent in the North Texas Region developing products and intellectual property. Mr. McCain is listed as an inventor on 11 patents and an additional series of KRTech energy and product packaging related patent applications that are currently pending. His product development experience is multi-disciplined, with areas of expertise including electrical engineering design, polymer materials, semiconductor marketing, sales, and new product development.

Building on a fulfilling career in the NASA and Boeing communities, Mr. Hofman is an attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP, and concentrates his practice in the area of intellectual property law. Mr. Hofman has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of high-tech patent applications, and provides counsel for clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. He believes that Texas is uniquely suited and poised for the advent of nanotechnology and other emerging technologies, and works closely with regional and state government entities on numerous economic development and commercialization initiatives, pursuing his vision of North Texas being to nanotechnology what Silicon Valley is to semiconductors.
